 Praying together
“My mother died when I was 9-years-old,” says Angie. “My father did his best to raise us eight kids by himself, but when I was a teenager, I moved to a group home. So you could say I pretty much raised myself.”
“I was searching for a place to connect, some place that was real. As I came to The Harvest Center, a lady met me at the door. There was such gentleness about her as she told me about God and the changes He had made in her life. A sense of light was in her and in the church. People were searching for God; the Presence of God was so strong. I knew this is the place I needed to be.”
“There is such a family atmosphere at The Harvest Center, a closeness that is felt. Sisters Lidia, Yvette, Stephanie, and Elizabeth are like mothers to me. As I got connected to them and learned how to be connected to God, something in me started growing. I’m getting stronger. I know God wants me to get out there to share with others what He has done in my life — and that’s what I’m going to do!”
Many lives have been changed. You are touching these lives. Through your ministry in prayer and partnership many have walked into new lives in Jesus Christ.
