A missionary is a person sent by the World Missions Board from his or her homeland or country of citizenship to another country for the purpose of spreading the Gospel. The most effective and productive missionary work is done by those who commit themselves to live among the people to whom they minister. They learn the language and culture and identify themselves with the people as “living epistles” of Jesus Christ . Intern is the level at which the World Missions Board first sends workers to the field. This service time is for a period of one year. They are under supervision of a career missionary who aids them in the ongoing process of “becoming” a missionary. Church of God Interns - Sabrina Evans – Czech Republic
